Dave is the Director of the Business and Industry Institute at Hutchinson Community College where connects area businesses to education and training.  A primary focus of the Business and Industry Institute is workforce development. From training and upskilling incumbent workers to educating new employees to developing an employment pipeline and building apprenticeship programs, HutchCC works to meet the workforce needs of Kansas employers. Dave has been with HutchCC since 2009. Prior to coming to HutchCC, Dave had a career in Manufacturing, working in the Aerospace industry. Dave has a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Iowa State and a Master’s of Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia.
