With over 20 years of Critical Care expertise, Dr. Jackson is the Director of Nursing Education Research and Development at Loretto. He designed and leads Loretto’s annual LPN Apprenticeship program. Based upon his curriculum and affective learning practices, this model has yielded a 96% NCLEX pass rate for students over the course of five years. Prior to joining Loretto, Dr. Jackson served as an Assistant Professor and Department chair at SUNY Morrisville State College, as Director of Nursing of the Onondaga County Justice Center, and as Health Occupations Coordinator for the Onondaga Cortland Madison BOCES LPN program, all while practicing as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
