As a life-long learner with so many varied interests, Mona is passionate about using creative outside-of-the-box thinking to empower and elevate community, nonprofit organizations and small businesses to advance their missions and projects. She has worked with a variety of organizations across the different sectors in Hawaiʻi and across Oceania for more than 20 years. Mona has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Brigham Young University of Hawaiʻi, a Masterʻs in Public Administration and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa. She is the oldest of eight and grew up in Hawai’i, American Samoa and Samoa.
