Good Future

Five years ago, my hashtags were #StartupLife #Hustle and #FemaleFounder. Now, they are #QualityJobs, #WorkforceInnovation and #InclusiveEconomies. What changed? I decided not to grow a company that couldn’t provide good jobs. Instead, I directed my energy into employer practice change as Director of Business Programs at the San Diego Workforce Partnership. I launched quality jobs initiatives like High Road Kitchens, CyberHire, and the Employee Ownership program, which used WIOA funds to help businesses avoid layoffs and build a more participatory economy. As the consultancy Good Future, I leverage expertise in ideation, strategic planning, and implementation to dream (and execute) on daring quality jobs initiatives that build strong and inclusive economies. My co-conspirators include national nonprofits and individual influencers passionate about workforce, quality jobs, and employee ownership.
