Brianna Rogers is Initiative Officer at ReWork the Bay, a statewide initiative focused on ensuring low wage workers in California have security, agency, a sense of belonging, and access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to actualize their full potential for their own well-being and the greater community. She was born and raised in Berkeley California and takes great pride in her Bay Area community roots. As a system impacted Black woman, she utilized Peralta community college (PCCD) to re-write herself into history and change the quality and trajectory of her life. Brianna earned her communications associate degree before transferring to The University of California Berkeley, where she earned her BA in rhetoric studies. While a student at UC Berkeley she developed programs and trainings to provide support to under resourced Black identified transfer students. She went on to earn her master’s degree in public policy management from Georgetown University in 2020.
