Linda serves as Director of the Baltimore Workforce Funders Collaborative (BWFC), a group of public and private funders working together to develop strategies and invest resources to advance equity, job quality, and systems change to impact workforce outcomes in the greater Baltimore region. Linda began her career working with out-of-school youth in Tijuana, Mexico and has remained committed to workforce equity and opportunity throughout her career. She formerly served as the Executive Director of the Garment Industry Development Corporation – one of the first nationally recognized sector-based workforce partnerships and a Senior Consultant to the Aspen Institute’s Workforce Strategies Initiative. In 2023, the White House asked the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and the BWFC to jointly lead Baltimore’s new infrastructure Workforce Hub.
